Cookies Policy
What cookies evestv sets, why we set them, and how you're in control.
This Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, how evestv uses them on evesiptv.tv, and what you can do about it. If you want the full picture on how we handle your personal data, take a look at our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device — phone, tablet, or computer — when you visit. They help the site remember things: your language, whether you're logged in, that kind of thing.
Some cookies are "session" cookies — they disappear the moment you close your browser. Others are "persistent" and stick around for a set period, or until you delete them yourself.
2. How We Use Cookies
We keep our cookie use pretty minimal. Here's what we actually do with them:
- Keep the site working properly — things like the pricing toggle and the free trial form (essential cookies).
- Remember the cookie choice you made, so we don't ask you again every visit.
- Understand which parts of the site are popular so we can make them better (analytics cookies).
- Show you relevant offers based on how you browse — but only if you've said that's fine (marketing cookies).
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These are the ones we can't turn off. Without them, core features — the mobile menu, pricing plans, the free trial form — simply won't work. You can't opt out of essential cookies, and we wouldn't expect you to.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Saves your cookie consent choice so we don't ask twice | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to see which pages get the most visits and how people move through the site. All that data is aggregated and anonymised — there's no way to identify you personally from it.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells users apart | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — tracks session state | 2 years |
Analytics cookies only get set after you accept via our consent banner. If you decline, we don't track anything.
Third-Party Cookies
If you click through to a payment provider (PayPal, Stripe), they may set their own cookies on their side. We don't control what those services do — check their own privacy policies for the full detail.
4. Your Cookie Choices
When you land on our site for the first time, a banner pops up asking whether you're OK with non-essential cookies. You can say yes or no right there. Changed your mind later? No problem — here's how to update your choice.
Reset your consent
Hit the button below and we'll clear your saved preference. The consent banner will show up again on your next page load so you can pick again.
Browser settings
You can also go straight to your browser settings to manage cookies directly:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Just a heads-up: blocking all cookies can break parts of the site.
Opt out of Google Analytics
Don't want Google Analytics tracking you anywhere? Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on — it works across all sites, not just ours.
5. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page if the way we use cookies changes or if new rules apply. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when we last made changes. Worth checking back now and then.
6. Contact
Got a question about cookies? Head to our contact page and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
